HOW TO RENT
CHOOSING YOUR EQUIPMENT.
All our customers have different photographic requirements and needs. Some are wildlife photographers who need a telephoto lens and others are wedding photographers who need a wide-angle lens and a flash. A lot of our customers are also people just wanting to try a lens or camera before making the big purchase.
Once you have decided on the equipment you want to rent please email us with your requirements [what equipment you need and the dates your require the equipment] and we will reply to you within 1 working day.You are also welcome to call us and we will check availability for you, please ask for the rentals department.
CONFIRMING YOUR RENTAL.
We will check on the dates and equipment you require and confirm their availability within 1 working day. We will then email you an invoice for the period you require the equipment. You will need to pay a 50% deposit to reserve the equipment as there could be other customers wanting to rent the same equipment at the same time as you. Once we receive your payment we will email you confirmation of your booking.
For any first time customers who have not rented from us before we will require a copy of your ID, proof of residence [Utility bill, rental lease agreement] and a signed copy of our application document before we will release the equipment to you. Kindly contact your nearest branch for an application form. Please try and email this through at least 48 hours before collecting the equipment to avoid any delays when you are at our branch collecting, as we will not be able to release any equipment without us receiving the required documentation.
Now all you have to do is collect the equipment from our branch. You can collect the equipment after 1pm on the day before your booking starts. So for example, if you have booked the equipment for Wednesday you can collect after 1pm on the Tuesday.
RETURNING OF EQUIPMENT
The equipment must be returned to us by no later than 11am on the day after your rental date. We need it back early as it needs to be cleaned, serviced and checked before it can go out to the next customer who might have booked it for that afternoon. A full inspection will be done within 1 working day on the equipment you have returned and if all is in order your rental is complete. If we find a problem we will inform you accordingly.
